OBJ
Also known as Wavefront OBJ, .obj. Category: 360, 3D and output formats
OBJ (Wavefront Object) is a widely supported, text-based format for 3D geometry. It stores vertices, faces and texture (UV) coordinates; materials and texture references are stored in a companion MTL file.
How PhotoRobot uses it
PhotoRobot Controls exports 3D models as OBJ with MTL. PhotoRobot's format overview describes OBJ/MTL as widely supported across platforms and suited to sharing detailed models with materials, but larger than other 3D formats.
